Recycling
Recycling is unlimited. It can be placed in a bin, pink toter, your own container that is marked for recycling or even a cardboard box. We do ask that all recycling items are rinsed before being placed in the recycling container.
ACCEPTED:
Paper
Magazines, junk mail, copy paper, envelopes, shredded paper, newspaper and books. No paper plates or wrapping paper of any kind.
Cardboard
Corrugated cardboard, cereal boxes ( please remove bags from boxes), beverage containers, shipping boxes, paper egg cartons, soap containers, shoeboxes and tissue boxes.
Miscellaneous Metals
Coat hangers, bicycles, pots, pans and lawn chairs.
Cans
Aluminum, tin, bi-metal or aerosol.
Plastics
Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7.
NOT ACCEPTED:
Styrofoam
Plastic number 6.
Motor Oil Containers
None of any kind.
Plastic Bags
Including Ziplock, shrink wrap, or bread bags.
Glass
No glass of any kind is accepted.
Insulin Needles
Place needles in plastic container and dispose of in the garbage.
Plastic Numbers: 1 – clear plastic bottles such as water bottles, 2 – cloudy or dark plastic such as milk jugs or laundry detergent bottles, 3, 4, 5 and 7 -plastic packaging such as food containers.
